Do not leave out people that are already fans. In the rush to get new customers, many companies inadvertently take their old customers for granted. You have to respect your audience if you want to be successful with Facebook marketing. Communication leads to a great relationship with your customers.
Facebook Pages
Know when it’s okay to post something about your business when you’re not on your personal Facebook page. You can garner a ton of attention when you post on other people’s Facebook pages. Make sure it is the good kind. Make postings on other Facebook pages only if you have worthy content. Don’t spam other pages.
Be selective when it comes to posting updates. People will lose interest right away if you are not posting any valuable content. Your updates should be educational, helpful or entertaining. Take advantage of Facebook Insights to learn which of your updates is the most successful, and provide more content that is similar.
Companies that only deal with customers occasionally, such as real estate agents or car dealers, do not need to have a Facebook page. Your customers appear randomly, so there’s no reason for them to follow all your daily posts. Use targeted ads on Facebook instead.
Immediately answer any questions and comments that your followers post on your Facebook wall. When a customer makes an effort to contact you, have the common courtesy of quickly responding to their questions. Facebook posts can often be similar to phone calls in which case you would respond as well as answer any questions.
More than likely you use Facebook, so you know pretty much what a potential customer will see. Use everything you’ve learned here and you should be able to get a campaign started that impresses your customers. The larger the effort you want to put in, the greater the profit you will receive.
